Grace
'Grace.'  "The soul learns which activities bring God's presence nearer." ---- Brother Lawrence, French Carmelite monk (1611-1691), in The Practice of the Presence of God "The most wonderful thing about grace is that the grace of God can descend upon you at any moment, with no warning and for no reason. God loves you unconditionally. You don't need to do anything to earn that love. It is available all the time to everyone. "The Angel Grace is God's messenger who bestows the experience of unconditional love at the most surprising moments. These precious moments light the beacons of faith in your soul, showing you the way home. Home is the place of your soul's origin, which lies within the heart of the ultimate source. When you are touched by grace, you are feeling God' tender caress, calling you to come home. "An experience of grace provides a glimpse of the magnitude of the love that awaits you. This pure love ignites the longing of the soul for home. What is the state of your relationship with God? Do you have a personal connection with Him? By what name do you call Him? Even if you feel that you don't know God, realize that he never forgets you. He knows you intimately and waits patiently for you to want to know Him again. Wherever you are in your relationship with the divine, think of it as your starting point. "Your soul calls on the Angel Grace to guide you into intimately personal experiences of unconditional love. An open, yearning heart is an irritable invitation for the intervention of Grace. Actions to Attract the Angel Grace ~ During your day, search for moments to attract the Angel Grace. While waiting in line or on the phone, occupy your mind with thoughts of previous experiences when you have felt the grace of God. ~ Pray for a closer relationship with spirit or for a way to know when you are home, in touch with your spiritual life. ~ Ask the Angel Grace to show you opportunities to share kindness and enhance the lives of others. Be observant. If you see a neighbor struggling with a heavy trash can, offer to her. ~ Take a flower to the clerk at your dry cleaners. ~ Give your change to a hungry or homeless person. ~ Write in a journal as you contemplate questions that will bring you closer to spirit, such as: * What is the purpose for my life? * What is God asking me to do? * How can I pray so that my prayers are heard? * How have I experienced grace? * Have I felt connected to my soul and to its home? * What have I experienced of God? ~ Meditate with the desire to connect directly with spirit. Play 'I Knew I Loved You' by Savage garden on Affirmation and ask the Angel Grace to help you feel the unconditional love that waits for you. Play 'Ave Maria' by Chloe Goodchild on Devi to elevate your desire and attract grace. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill your body and mind so you can receive the grace that comes with the divine invitation to bring more love into the world in your own unique way. ~ From a state of connection with grace, offer your work to benefit others. ~ Make your house a dwelling place of love by creating altars. An altar contains a symbol of devotion or love, such as a statue of an angel that touches your heart or a picture of someone -- Jesus, the Mother Mary, a saint or a master ---- who connects you with love.
