Sunday(*v/c-pm): the Moon is in Sagittarius
Travel is one of the things that the astrological signs Gemini and Sagittarius rule (are closely associated with). Gemini rules short distance journeys and Sagittarius rules long distance journeys. Whether you are on a short journey or a long journey or no journey at all this weekend, between the Moon's void-of-course status and the upcoming Full Moon early this week, the best place to be right now is at home or on your way back home.

Monday, Tuesday(Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse), Wednesday am(v/c): the Moon is in Capricorn

The Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn this week and the Solar Eclipse in Cancer two weeks from now focus on the internal world (Cancer) and the external world (Capricorn), your inside the home base and your outside the home base. The effects of a set of eclipses can last for about six months or until the next set of eclipses, which will occur at the very end of this year and the beginning of 2010. During this time, it would be good to take care of matters in both areas that will secure a balanced foundation between the yin and yang energies in your life.

Wednesday pm, Thursday, Friday: the Moon is in Aquarius

If something strange or odd comes up (an Aquarian trait), its purpose is undoubtedly to shake up a situation so that it can be viewed from a whole new perspective. Remember the line from Monty Python - "And now for something completely different!" You can't go wrong with Monty.

Saturday: the Moon is in Pisces
Usually this astrological sign is filled with soft, subtle energy that supports an escape from reality for a little while. However, with Saturn, the planet that insists on reality at all times, being in an opposition placement to the Moon, that might not be the case this weekend. On the other hand, Venus, a planet that loves soft and subtle, is also in a strong connection to the Moon so this could really be the case after all. One thing about Pisces, it's veiled in a misty, illusive fog and you never know for sure which way things are going to go.

Note: Timeframes for Moon signs, void-of-course periods, and current planet & asteroid positions are noted for Eastern time zone (USA). Please adjust according to your own location. Times are not given if the void-of-course Moon occurs for a very short period or if it occurs during the night (based on Eastern time zone).

* v/c = Void-of-Course
- When the Moon is void-of-course, spend time working on projects already in progress, creative endeavors, or self-improvement. Void-of-course simply means that no planets are aspecting the Moon. It's best not to start new projects, sign important agreements, or go shopping when the Moon is void-of-course because the result will probably be unsatisfactory in some way.

** Mercury Retrograde - the speed of the planet slows down considerably. Communications, paperwork, electronics, and traffic can become very mixed-up or delayed during this time. A situation will be in the process of changing, so wait until Mercury is direct to finalize anything. In general, maintain a slower, more cautious pace in daily affairs. Always allow at least two days before (to slow down) and after Mercury retrograde (to resume regular activities).
