Autumn can be described in many ways. It brings longer nights with shorter days for the western side of
the earth coupled with cooler temperatures. It is a season of colour and yes...it is a season of 'change'.
In many cultures it is the bringer of the harvest from summers hard efforts. (Reaping as we have sown.)

I personally love the foliage. Rich amber shades with deep reds and yellows. An occasional spruce to
hold deep to the earth for old man winter's arrival. We are entering a time when those things from the
recent passed years are coming to a head like a massive boil on the butt of society (to quote Jack
Nicholson in some movie I believe)...and turning to a new direction with many heavy challenges left
to deal with.
Dennis Hopper said some wonderful things to Whoppi Goldberg on 'The View' about Obama. He said
some interesting things about our government. One of which is to always vote for a different party to
lead the country every 20 years. Never leave one...democratic or republican, to continue holding the
position pass that time period.
Let us all pray for heavenly strength and guidance to aide our new leader to whom we are grateful
to call Mr. President.
