The world has the ability to unite and stand as one. It has the ability to pour unlimited compassion, caring and love into it's people. The countries of the world are able to stand together. We, of various nationalities, are able to put our differences aside. We , the peoples of the world, can show great generosity and concern for our fellow man. Yes, the world has all of these capacities and abilities, but somewhere in the system they are suppressed until some tragedy of great proportions occurs. Unfortunately, it does take a tragedy, loss of valuable lives, loss of homes, loss of financial stabilty...loss of everything. |  |
 | Bush fires have been ravaging the Victorian countryside for over a week...it is forecast that over 300 people have lost their lives, more have lost everything. Many families are lost, yes whole families have died, others are devastated by the destruction of their lives, property and what they love most in the world. Fires continue to threaten yet more lives, many are uncontrolled burning wildly and closing in on places of importance such as a gas plant and the main water catchment which services Melbourne. Every Australian is grieving, grieving for those that have lost lives, those that are suffering, those that now have nothing. In our grief as a nation there shines a light. The light being the unity of the world in it's endeavours to provide the much needed assistance and aid during this time of crisis, during our pain. The world has united in it's solitary quest to ease our burden, to stretch out ,not,one or two hands,but many. We now stand together. |  |
 | What if the world was like this all the time? What if we were all united as one? What if it didn't take a tragedy for the world's compassion to flow unheeded? What if we all stand together and united we fall? Our world would be a much better place, one in which faith and hope could exist unquestioned, doubt would disappear, wars would end...money would mean nothing...power would be obselete. the tragedy that has occur d is a great one And I pray God can stop what has happen if to who believe in God can see he could do that. "We all need to stay together and to be close to those families who had died in this...............
"We all need hope" what we are learning from this " The bad at times out numbers the good when things become so grave what becomes this awful horrid event . I think we all wished to be all there and support this and show we can help to those who grieve dearly of those families that had lost someone that they love so much. All we can do is support them love them who has families there and give what we don't use to them that have nothing but there clothes on there back.
