 Republicans, breaking sharply with President George W. Bush as his term draws to a close, refused to back federal aid for Detroit's beleaguered Big Three without a guarantee that the United Auto Workers would agree by the end of next year to wage cuts to bring their pay into line with U.S. plants of Japanese carmakers. The UAW refused to do so before its current contract with the automakers expires in 2011.The breakdown left the fate of the auto industry — and the 3 million jobs it touches — in limbo at a time of growing economic turmoil. General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC have said they could be weeks from collapse. Ford Motor Co. says it does not need federal help now, but its survival is far from certain. Democratic leaders called on Bush to immediately tap the $700 billion Wall Street bailout fund for emergency aid to the auto industry. |  Well,... This is not a surprise now is it Readers? The Republicans have now bought into... their attitudinal indifference and displayed actions that say... they are now... God.  Yes my Dear Readers... They are the thing itself. They are now... God. They are Judge, Jury, and now Executioner. They have determined that Banks (White Collar) are cool to help. But AMERICAN car companies... (who employ Blue Collar Workers)... are not cool to help. Why? Because the big Three PAY their workers, and NEGOTIATE with the workers Union... that Heaven forbid... work FOR the workers... and not Banks. Well this just sounds like an Family matter to me, that is BETWEEN the Big Three and THEIR workers, as to WHAT they are paid, and what Medical Benefits they accrue with the Big Three. |
 Let's get t the source of the problem and yes Jealousy! Let's blow this BS Programming out of the box! Because this is one NLP I can't stand! Most of us have been buying it for too long... epically the Southern Workers! It's called the "Right To Work State" Law, employed by the South! Under the guise of an Employee's "Civil Rights" lies this hideous Law's work to assist Company Owners (Nissan, Toyota, and yes even At&T who is laying off 3,000+ workers in Southern California as well as thousands elsewhere) with land, finances, major tax cuts, and HUGE State Funding. Yet, as long as the blue collar worker says "yessa master" they get a "Right To Work." | NISSAN  TOYOTA  |
Here in part is the Law; If you are employed in one of the 22 states that has a Right to Work law, you are probably protected by the state's Right to Work law and cannot be required to join or pay dues or fees to a union. " | The Southern Republicans now have become God. Yes Judge, Jury, and Executioner. They have taken it upon them selfs to define Business relations with their own States and their workers AND the rest of the Countries workers. Why? The basis of The Right To Work Law covers the White Collar worker, NOT the Blue Collar worker. Let's get one thing clear here Readers.... IF the Company in the Southern States wants to fire a person they can and they DO NOT have to further honor ANY portion of their severance pay, health plan, or any other amenities said worker has the right to receive. Is this what WE want for the rest of the Country? I don't think so. |
